Visit to K-Farm

On May 12th, the Geography Department led a group of 30 Secondary Two students on a visit to K-FARM in Kennedy Town.  As the first urban farm in Hong Kong integrating hydroponics, aquaponics, and organic farming systems, K-FARM provided an exceptional learning opportunity for our students.  During the visit, they were exposed to various farming techniques and gained insights into the importance of sustainable farming practices in urban environments.  Students had the privilege of participating in hands-on experience planting and applying fertilizers in the farm.

S3 Mini Global Week

The school was buzzing with excitement as S3 students and teachers gathered to celebrate the highly anticipated Mini Global Week (from May 5 to 12).  This vibrant event transformed the classrooms into a bustling multi-cultural hub, as students took turns hosting and visiting booths that featured games, food, and costumes to showcase the cultures they had researched.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their communication skills while learning about the diverse cultures that make up our global community.  It was encouraging to see our students showing interests in cultures that are very different from theirs and celebrating the diversity of the world.
