第六十九屆香港學校朗誦節粵語集誦冠軍
本校粵語朗誦隊（隊員35人，由中三甲和中三戊合組）於二零一七年十二月十六日參加第六十九屆香港學校朗誦節比賽。隊員由九月開始練習，經過兩個多月備戰，在女子集誦項目(中三、四組別)以傑出表現奪得冠軍，師生同感欣喜。

Many of our school teams have been busy with tournaments this term and two sets of outstanding results came in recently. In early December our Volleyball Team entered the Inter-school Volleyball Competition (Division 1, Grade A) and emerged as the new Champion. We are also very proud of our Basketball Team who emerged as the First Runner-up in the Inter-school Basketball Competition (Division 1, Grade A) in late November. Their rigorous training and skillful play have paid off.

Design DIY Virtual Reality (VR) Viewer Workshop
Twenty-four S4-6 Visual Arts and Information and Communication Technology students participated in the Design DIY Virtual Reality (VR) Viewer Workshop of the annual Business of Design Week at the Education Corner organized by Hong Kong Design Institute on 7 December. Participants were given components to design and assemble their own VR viewer from scratch. They learnt the basic elements and workflow for creating a virtual world. Both teachers and students enjoyed the creative experience tremendously.
全港跳繩精英賽2018暨香港代表隊選拔賽
中一級鄭靖潼、黃樂瑤及黃貝瑤參加由中國香港跳繩總會主辦，康樂及文化事務署資助之「全港跳繩錦標賽2018暨香港代表隊選拔賽」。賽事於2017年12月2日舉行，三位同學成績優異，獲得多個獎項：團體三人交互繩花式比賽冠軍、四人單人繩速度接力比賽亞軍、四人交互繩速度接力比賽季軍及14歲或以下女子團體組總成績季軍。三位中一同學更獲得參加世界跳繩錦標賽資格，將於2018年7月代表香港前往上海參加比賽。
Toastmasters Speech Contests 17-18
On 2nd Dec, the Toastmasters Speech and Table Topics Contests were held in Ying Wa. The contests are held every year and allow students who have participated in the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program to demonstrate their communication and leadership skills. There were thirty-five contestants from secondary two to four, six student workers and five judges, who were from Toastmasters International. The contest provided an opportunity and platform for students to shine and share their wonderful speeches with the audience.
