Farewell Assembly 2019
A Farewell Assembly was held on 15th February which was the day before the last school day of the graduating classes. The S6 melted our hearts with their words of gratitude for teachers, schoolmates and all members of Ying Wa. Our Principal, Mr. Kwan, commented that if students could have a humble heart and faith in themselves, they would be able to embrace their unique roles to serve the Lord in the future. Singing the hymn “Pass it on”, the S6 lit one another’s candle to symbolize the continuance of the school’s heritage. Whilst the candles were being lit, the whole school sent our best wishes to the graduating class by singing a farewell song “I know who holds the future” to encourage them to have faith in Jesus at all times.
