Science trip to France

Six S4 students (2018-2019) from the Aerial Photography and Technology Team won the Champion and the Innovative Design Award in the “Social Innovation • Community 4.0 Competition”, which was held by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS).  The team was offered an opportunity to visit social innovation startups in Paris from 27 July to 3 August.  In the tour, the team discussed social and environmental issues in France with leaders of different enterprises.  Not only did they observe their operations and facilities, but they also explored an array of pioneering solutions in France.  The team learnt how recycling could be incorporated in their everyday life.  They also realized that people-oriented concepts and daily observation were the keys to social innovation.
