本書，除了提供不同推廣活動的例子，甚至是簡便閱讀報告隨便取用之外，有關感想都是以小品文形式鋪陳，相信校長老師再忙，每日讀一兩篇總做得到。假如同時讀過本書和《閱讀的力量》，就會發現范老師的經驗感想，跟美國人的研究結論，若合符節。那麼校長老師們，還有甚麼拒絕自由閱讀的理由呢﹖
