那裏亞其實就在我們內心的世界，那是光明與黑暗、善良與邪惡交鋒的所在。
本書寫那裏亞的毁滅，那裏亞王國到了終結一天，新的那裏亞取代了舊的那裏亞。後者因惡的入侵而漸漸變壞了。本書描寫奴役與自由之爭，公義與邪惡最後之戰，氣象萬千，氣魄雄渾，魯益師的筆力，令人屏息動容。
