《他們在島嶼寫作》第一系列介紹了台灣最重要的六位文學作家，至今依舊迴響不斷。四年沈澱之後，我們推出《他們在島嶼寫作2》，以七位作家──劉以鬯、洛夫、瘂弦、林文月、白先勇、西西、也斯──七部文學電影，穿越台灣與香港，試圖在島嶼間構築出一個文學時代的風貌，那時代文學家被迫面對的動盪遷移、與世界文學接軌的新奇衝擊等等，都能在這些偉大的文學生命裡感受體會。經由時代，理解不朽
