2010年1月29日馬頭圍道45號唐樓倒塌事件釀成四死二傷。 作者親自追訪了事件中的街坊, 讓他們的故事不被遺忘, 凸顯草根階層的處境和政府官僚制度的荒謬。
這本書既講故事, 又做評論, 夾敍夾議, 是一種比較新的書寫形式。
