This book is about a girl called Elizabeth Allen,she did not want to go to school but her mum need to go to work and will not stay at home for 1 year. Elizabeth's teacher need to go to another people's home to teach so no one is able to look after Elizabeth Allen.
she was rude and naughty at first because she wanted to go back home.she change her mind at last because she wanted to perform the piano.Also,she did not want leave her best friend,Joyce.
