Message from the Music Director

“Gesamtkunstwerk” is a term used by the 19th Century German Romantic composer, Wilhelm Richard Wagner, to signify an ideal operatic performance that synthesizes all the arts, including the performing arts like music, theater, dance; literature including poetry; and the visual arts like painting, sculpture, and architecture.

With the concerted effort of our endeavoured students, teachers, our intelligent and creative director, Miss Carrie Cheung, our artistic and passionate dance director, Miss Joyce Wong, and the ever supportive executive producer, Mr. Kwan Hon Cheung, our guest composer Mr. Li Cheong, we strive to achieve a unique harmony of these various arts through the production of ALICE.

ALICE is Ying Wa’s Gesamtkunstwerk.
