Sports Day 2018

Teachers and students of Ying Wa enjoyed a shiny day outdoors at the Wan Chai Sports Ground on 21 September 2018.  It was our honour to have invited Ms. Chung Wai-chi Janet (Alumna and IMC Honourary Manager of YWGS) and Mr. Chan Ho-yuen Daniel (1st Wheelchair Para-Badminton Representative in Hong Kong at the Asian Games) to be our guest speakers at the opening and closing ceremony respectively.  They delivered speeches to encourage students to develop the essential characters of sportsmanship, for instance perseverance andcourage, as well as to face challenges in the midst of difficulties.  What stood out on the Sports Day was the performance section -- rope skipping.  Three S2 students from the Hong Kong Rope Skipping Club demonstrated various techniques and many teachers, students, parents and friends of Ying Wa were astounded by their exhilarating performance.
