Inauguration of Appointed Officials, Student Association and Interhouse Committee

Today marked the inauguration of student leaders across various committees, the 78th Student Association (SA), and the 36th Inter-House Committee.  Following the installation of all appointed post-holders, Lau Sum In (6D), Chairlady of the outgoing 77th Student Association, delivered a Vote of Thanks.  She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her peers for their unwavering support over the past year and encouraged everyone to stay united in supporting the incoming SA.

Our Principal, Ms Chuk Wai Kan, then conducted the Investiture of Office, led the badge presentation, and endorsed all appointments.  During the ceremony, she reminded student leaders to follow the Christian spirit of “to serve and not to be served,” striving to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and joy.  Furthermore, she shared three vital reminders with the school community:

(1) Do not conform to the pattern of this world.  Be reflective and discerning.

(2) Do what is good and pleasing in His eyes.  Be proactive in doing good.

(3) Love the whole student body as one.  Be united.

In response, the student body took a collective pledge to abide by the Association’s constitution and school regulations, work together to foster school harmony, and support one another’s growth.  Finally, Yeung Sum Yin Ingrid (5C), Chairlady of the 78th Student Association, concluded the assembly with her inaugural address, committing to serve and contribute wholeheartedly to the Ying Wa community.
