Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival
Ann Cheung, our head girl has also done the school proud. She was first runner-up in the Putonghua section of the annual Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. An exemplary model of EDB’s effort to cultivate tri-lingual and bi-literate students, she was also on the English Debate Team that emerged champion in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (First Term Finals).

Sino Junior Reporter Programme 2014
Tina Ko, our deputy head girl emerged as the winner in the Sino Junior Reporter Programme 2014. Winner in Essay Contest
Janet Yan Tsz Ching of 5A has been chosen as one of the top three winners of the WMI Philomathia Students Essay Contest. As one of the winners, she will be entitled to a one-week-expenses paid trip to England with an opportunity to visit London and experience college life at Cambridge and explore further studies opportunities.

Volleyball Champion
Our Volleyball Team emerged as the Champion in the Division I Inter-school Volleyball Girls C Grade Competition. Our team defeated Heep Yunn School in the final game on 13 April 2014. Both teams displayed discipline and quality. It was a fantastic game cheered by supportive fans and parents.

Wong Nga-yee, graduaate of Ying Wa Girls' School, obtained outstanding results (seven Level 5**) in the 2013 HKDSE Examination. She has been awarded the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Medal.
