全國青少年信息學奧林匹克競賽
張雪嵐同學（四丙班）於二零二四年十二月參加香港電腦奧林匹克競賽決賽，獲得初級組銅獎。張同學獲邀接受訓練，並以優異表現被選為香港代表 (唯一女子代表)，於二零二五年七月十二日至十八日參加在浙江省紹興市舉行的第四十二屆全國青少年信息學奧林匹克競賽（NOI 2025）。本屆參賽者來自港澳兩地及全國三十二個省市及自治區，各選手須於指定時間內編寫程式及解決難題，難度極高。是次活動機會難得，張同學及同行的青少年代表可以與全國選手互相切磋，獲益良多。
Master Chef Challenge July 2025
Hau Na Sze (3E) and Chan Hei Tung Kimberley (4A) took part in the inter-school competition organised by German Pool on July 12. They were awarded a merit prize and received a Bento Steam Cooker in recognition of their creative entry celebrating their favourite campus flavours.

The Speech Day on July 8, 2025, marked a meaningful conclusion to their secondary school journey with Principal Mr. Kwan’s warm welcome, alumna Dr. Chong Shuk Ching’s (莊淑貞醫生) inspiring address, the presentation of graduation certificates, and Tam Hoi Yan’s (6E) heartfelt thank-you speech. Mr. Kwan reminisced about significant events and touching moments shared with the graduates during his principalship, moments that encouraged growth, understanding, and gratitude.

Memorial Service in Honour of Rev. Lee Ching Chee
On July 6, a memorial service in honour of Rev. Lee Ching Chee (李清詞牧師) was held at Ying Wa. Having embarked on her spiritual journey at Ying Wa, Rev. Lee was a pioneering advocate for women’s ordination in Hong Kong. She was the first woman pastor ordained by the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China in 1966. Throughout her life, she was a devoted educator, serving Ying Wa faithfully for over twenty years as Chaplain and Vice-Principal, deeply influencing both the spiritual and academic growth of Ying Wa.
Students’ Day 2025
The Students' Day, Kairos, was successfully held on 2 July. Organised by the 76th Student Association, Meronica, the event aimed to provide fellow students with opportunities to relax after their final exams and celebrate a meaningful journey of self-love and discovery. Activities included game and souvenir stalls run by students, stalls hosted by the Parent-teacher Association (PTA) and the Astronomy Club, food stalls, spontaneous dance sessions, and a variety of student performances, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Students actively participated in these activities, making wonderful memories with their schoolmates.
4th Runner-up of Japanese Knowledge Competition
Two YW teams, each consisting of three students, from Secondary Four and Five participated in the Second Japanese Knowledge Competition for Secondary Schools in Hong Kong (第二屆全港中學生日本常識問答比賽). The Secondary Four team included Hau Ka Hei (4A), Lau Wing Yi (4A), and Yeh Tsz Kiu (4A), while the Secondary Five team comprised Kam Hoi Ching (5A), Lo Sze Wai (5A), and Lo Yi Wing (5A). Organised jointly by the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong and Mu Kuang English School, the competition took place on 2 July. It tested participants' knowledge of Japanese society, language, and traditional and popular culture. Our Secondary Four team achieved 4th Runner-up.
S5 Pre-JUPAS Conference 2025
To prepare S5 students for their JUPAS application, the S5 Pre-JUPAS Conference was held on 2 July 2025 by the Careers Committee. The event provided students with essential knowledge and insights into various disciplines to facilitate the process of making their university programme choices. In the conference, some S6 students shared practical study tips to prepare for the DSE. Alumnae from both local and overseas universities were also invited to share their personal experiences. Through the conference, students gained a deeper understanding of the diverse academic paths available for them.
