Assembly on Wooden Preservation Project

When people think of Ying Wa, "cheongsam" definitely pops into their mind.  When alumnae think of Ying Wa, a number of valuable items would top the list.

One of these items would definitely be the wooden furniture.  With the support of the school, alumnae, teachers, parents and students, Ms. Wong Wai King, our pioneer in the wooden preservation project, initiated this project with great enthusiasm and hard work.  A total of 66 sets of desks and chairs were renovated for use in two S6 classes at our decanting campus as well as the new campus.  The team held an assembly on 24 October to share with teachers and students the difficulties they had encountered and how they successfully overcame them one by one.  This project connects Ying Wa with the past, the present, and the future.
