Eco-tour to Long Valley

The Eco Amigos, our school's environmental protection team, recently co-organized an eco-tour to Long Valley on Mar 27 in collaboration with the Civic Club of St Joseph's College and the Conservancy Association.  16 students from S3, S4, and S5 had the opportunity to participate in this joint-school initiative and local excursion.

During the tour, the students were guided by conservation experts and local farmers, allowing them to gain valuable insights into sustainable wetland management and the current land management issues in Hong Kong.  They also had the chance to learn about the future role of agriculture within our community.

This experience provided the students with a deeper understanding of the complexities associated with sustainable development and heightened their sense of responsibility as future guardians of the Earth.  They are eager to bring back what they learned to our campus, using it as inspiration to become even better leaders in promoting sustainability.
