Medical Checkup Programme for the Elderly
30 Interact Club members volunteered in a meaningful service programme on 10 November by assisting more than 200 elderly citizens to receive free medical checkup. They gathered in a community centre in Tai Kok Tsui and helped set up booths and guide the elderly to go through different checkups. It was a precious opportunity for club members to acquire some medical knowledge, such as measuring blood pressure and glucose, and to understand more about elderly healthcare services in the local community.
