S6 CSD Poverty Simulation Workshop
The Citizenship and Social Development Department (CSD) invited the Inter Cultural Education (ICE) to hold Poverty Simulation workshops for all the S6 classes in Nov and Dec 2023. Students got a chance to reflect on why poverty, unfair trade practices and social inequality remained under economic globalization. They linked and applied the knowledge they learned in the CSD curriculum to a “real-life” example in the simulation through professional guidance, genuine props and interactive activities. Everyone was fully engaged and enlightened in the role-play, discussion and sharing. Overall, the learning atmosphere was filled with joy.
