Speech Day 2019 (Album 1)
The annual Speech Day was held on 9 July at the Silcocks Hall at the Robinson Road campus. Our Principal, Mr Kwan Hon-cheung Francis, welcomed parents and congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of their secondary school education. He was grateful for the unswerving support of Reverend Wu Ping Kit, the School Supervisor, who had served in Ying Wa for 27 years. Ms Lam Lai-bing Alison, an Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) manager and alumna, also delivered her words of encouragement to the graduates. Among the honourable guests was the Secretary for Education, Mr Yeung Yun-hung Kevin (楊潤雄局長), JP. In his address, he appreciated the hard work of the school and the staff of the Education Bureau who helped contribute to the success of the redevelopment project. Moreover, he cherished the core values of Ying Wa which shaped graduates’ characters to serve Hong Kong by taking up different roles in society. Lo Wing Sum Amy (6E) delivered her valedictorian speech on behalf of the graduating class. She thanked the school for nurturing them throughout the years. She also emphasised the importance of maintaining self-discipline and being responsible with a humble heart.
