Hong Kong Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics 2025/26
In the Hong Kong Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics 2025/26, Ying Wa was the top-performing school and was awarded the Grand School Prize Champion for second consecutive year with 3
Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
Leung Hilary (4E), Man Cho Yan (6C) and Law Yi Sheung (6E) won Gold Medal for Ying Wa with their excellent performances, while Cheung Suet Nam (5C) and Chan Yi Ching (4D) were awarded the Silver Medal. Chan Hoi Yan (5C) received the Bronze Medal. Leung Hilary (4E) was also honoured as the Best Young Contestant.

Hong Kong String Interflows 2025 Silver Award
The String Orchestra was awarded the Silver Award with an impressive average mark of 88 in the Hong Kong String Interflows 2025 organized by the Music Office of HKSAR. Led by our music teacher, Mr Matthew Leung, they conducted an excellent performance in the competition, performing the Concerto Grosso in F Major, Op.6, No.9 by G. F. Handel.

Inter-school Athletics Meet
Our student achieved spectacular success at the 2025 Inter-school Athletics Meet, securing the Overall 3rd runner-up title and earning a promotion to Division One next year.
Leading the charge, the A-grade 4x400m Relay team clinched the championship gold. In individual events, Chan Wing Kiu (5C) threw her way to 2nd runner-up in Discus. On the track, Leung Kak Yee (5C) and Kan Tsz Ching (5A) dominated the A-grade 800m, securing second and third runner-up spots respectively.

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals “Good People, Good Deeds: English Writing Competition 2024-25”
Congratulations to Lau Sum Hei (6C) for winning the Silver Award in the Senior Section of the Good People Good Deeds English Writing Competition.
The Competition provides young writers with a platform to inspire change through their writing, infusing positive energy into society and fostering social cohesion and care in the local community.

Four S5 students achieved outstanding results in the “Second 3D Model Design Competition”, themed "Hong Kong Culture (香港文化)". Their 3D model, titled "Four Warriors of the Walled City (城寨四少)", earned them the Champion Award and the Best Presentation Award.

Li Chiu Wing Jeannie (2E) was awarded 1st runner-up and 4th place in the categories of Adult Duo and Youth Solo (under 16) respectively at the 10th World Harmonica Festival, a prestigious harmonica competition held in Trossingen, Germany.

Red Cross Youth First Aid Competition (Central & Western District) 2025-2026
On October 19, 2025, two teams of Ying Wa students from Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 11 took part in the Central and Western (C&W) District Youth First Aid Competition. They showcased their knowledge of first aid skills in a “First Aid Skill Challenge” and a “Stimulated First Aid Competition”.
Team A was crowned Champion in the “First Aid Skills Challenge”, Champion in the “Stimulated First Aid Competition”, and thus the “Overall Champion” of the competition. Team B also won the “Overall 2nd Runner-up” award of the competition.
