Museum Visit – Hong Kong Museum of History

On 5 January the S6 Chinese History class visited the Hong Kong Museum of History (HKMH) to attend a special exhibition named Miles Upon Miles: World Heritage along the Silk Road.  The focus of this exhibition is on the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan (Corridor of the Silk Road which spanned four mainland provinces (Shaanxi, Henan, Gansu and Xinjiang), Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.  Thanks to the arrangements of HKMH, the professional docent, Ms Ho, guided the students and the accompanying teachers on how to appreciatethe invaluable artefacts symbolic of the cultural exchanges on the Silk Road from Han Dynasty onwards.
