Silver Medal of HKYAS

The Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme (HKYAS) was jointly organized by the Tourism Commission and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.  The scheme aims to cultivate a sense of belonging to Hong Kong among young people, while fostering courtesy and helpfulness toward visitors.

Participants stationed at popular tourist spots like SKY100, Ngong Ping 360, and Wong Tai Sin Temple to introduce these locations to tourists.  They also volunteered at various major events, including the Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade, Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races, and Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnivals.

Leung Sum Nam (S5C) was awarded the Silver Medal, an honour given to Young Ambassadors who promote Hong Kong tourism and contribute over 100 hours of voluntary service in 2023/24.
