End of Term Service 2016

The school term drew to a close on 11 July with two sessions of the End of Term Service for junior and senior forms. In the Principal’s Address, Mr Francis Kwan urged students to include acts of courage, commitment and collaboration to make their lives more meaningful and enriching. On behalf of the Secondary Six students, Wong Hin Lam (6B) and Ko Tina Lok Sun (6B) reminded their school mates, in their respective session, to distinguish themselves as Ying Wa girls by seizing opportunities to serve and not to be served. Many students were recognized for their achievements in academic and extracurricular activities throughout this year. The long list of prizes and awards amazed everyone, and the two services ended on a high note. Congratulations to one and all!

Students’ Day

The much anticipated Students’ Day was held successfully on 4th July. With the help of their “Caravan”, the Student Association transported fellow schoolmates on a journey through the ages. The campus was divided into three time zones, namely “Old Hong Kong”,“Old Britain” and “Modern Times”. Schoolmates could explore a diverse selection of stalls which included detective games, food stalls, DIY stationery and accessories, and most interestingly, light painting. The day was brought to a climax when our teachers delivered a series of amazing singing and dance performances.
