Internal Talent Quest – Ascend
As you recall, the campaign slogan of the Student Association, Canvas, was "Paint the Unexplored". Throughout their term of office, they created opportunities for schoolmates to explore their potential, and one of those promoted talent in singing, dancing and other performances in a fun way.
The Internal Talent Quest, "Ascend", was held at the end of June and in early July for schoolmates to tap their wealth of previously hidden talent. They dressed colourfully and entertained with full confidence and enthusiasm before a live audience of judges, teachers and schoolmates. The objectives of nurturing the intrinsic qualities in schoolmates and removing their stage fright were achieved. It is a remarkable page for the history of the Student Association.

Jazz Team Awards
Well done, dancers! The Jazz Team received the ‘Highly Commended Award’ in the 52nd School Dance Festival and the ‘Silver Award’ in the 44th Open Dance Contest recently.
Our school team has participated in many other competitions this year with outstanding results. In the course of these performances and the year-long training, not only have the skills of the dancers improved, but team mates have also developed closer ties and formed unforgettable memories of their time at Ying Wa.
舞蹈隊獎項
舞蹈隊在過去一年參加了不少比賽，繼早前在中西區舞蹈比賽及校際賽事取得獎項外， 最近再獲佳績。在第四十四屆全港公開舞蹈比賽，舞蹈隊以現代舞、爵士舞及中國舞參賽，分別獲得金獎、銀獎。 隊員除了學習到不同的舞蹈知識和技能外，還明白與人合作的重要。整個團隊在過程中建立了深厚情誼，可謂獲益良多。按此查看獎項。
中國文化常識問答比賽
由自學中心等六個科目、組別合辦的「中國文化常識問答比賽」在五月六日舉行決賽，賽事順利，歷時四個月的活動圓滿結束。今年賽事精彩，一丁班在初賽出線隊伍中得分最高，直入決賽。三乙及三丙班經兩次淘汰賽才進入決賽，對中一師妹亦不敢掉以輕心。決賽賽果是三乙獲得冠軍、三丙亞軍，季軍一丁班面對強勁對手亦積極搶答，三隊分數一度相當接近，為賽事增添緊張氣氛。
英華勤跑會 跑步承傳愛
英華女學校十多名家長、校友和師生於四月三十日參加在青衣運動場舉行的「RUN ON 溫TWILIGHT RUN」社區跑。是次活動由社會企業「FOODSPORT膳動衡」主辦，參加者以跑步「捐」卡路里，為社會上有需要人士籌集食物 ─ 參加者所消耗的卡路里數量會轉為食糧，幫助弱勢社群。首次參加社區跑的校友朱樂然和林綺婷表示，跑步既可以鍛練身體，又可以做善事，實在是一舉兩得。
