Sports Day (Final) 2023
The highly anticipated Sports Day (Final) took place at the Wan Chai Sports Ground. The event kicked off with an inspiring speech by Vice-Principal Mr Cho Kong Sang, who illustrated the advantages and benefits of sports by emphasizing the crucial role sports play in maintaining physical strength and endurance while also directly contributing to our academic success.
The highlight of the final was undoubtedly the electrifying 4 x 100m parents, staff, and students relay. It was heartwarming to witness the remarkable teamwork displayed by all participants. While all teams performed exceptionally well, one of the parents' teams edged out and took home the champion title.
Adding to the excitement, four neighboring schools competed in the 4x100m invitation relay. This fostered friendship and sportsmanship, bringing together athletes from different schools.
Another remarkable highlight of the Sports Day (Final) was the sensational performances by the five different houses' cheering teams. Each house showcased their talent, coordination, and creativity, leaving the audience awestruck. Their excellent performances ignited a wave of cheers, further heightening the jubilant atmosphere.
The day also featured a special competition called "The Graduation Cup," where our Secondary Six students had the opportunity to work with their own classmates against other classes. This competition is significant as it marked their last sports day as part of our school community. It allows them to relish the friendships built throughout their educational journey.
The closing ceremony culminated in the presentation of trophies by our esteemed alumna, Ms Hong Ka Man. Her presence inspired the athletes to continue striving for greatness. The Sports Day (Final) was an extraordinary celebration of achievements, teamwork, and the indomitable spirit of our school community.
