Sharing by Interact Club

YWGS continues to embody the spirit of “Yes We Go and Serve” and “to serve, not to be served.”  Once again, the Interact Clubs of Ying Wa College and our school collaborated to organize a community service project called “深緒情緣” in Sham Shui Po.  Participants had the opportunity to engage with underprivileged members of the community, including tenants of sub-divided flats, cleaning workers, cardboard collectors, and the homeless.  These meaningful interactions offered students a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals in our society. 

On October 22, 2025, students shared their experiences and reflections during the morning assembly.  Their heartfelt sharing not only raised awareness of the often-overlooked communities in our prosperous city, but also encouraged empathy for others’ needs and a deeper sense of gratitude for what we have.
