4 March 2026
Hong Kong Literary Festival
On 4 March, our school hall buzzed with curiosity during the Incomprehension Workshop, hosted by the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and acclaimed speaker Ann Morgan.
Participants were invited to set aside the fear of not having "the right answer." By exploring unfamiliar texts written by writers of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, they learned to use intuition and curiosity to read more richly and deeply. The workshop beautifully highlighted that reading is a unique, personal journey where we fill in the gaps using our own life experiences. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session, offering thought-provoking interpretations that allowed everyone to see the texts from entirely new perspectives.
