We were delighted to welcome back our distinguished alumna, Ms Serena Tong (唐家穎), as the guest speaker for our morning assembly on April 29, 2026.
Now a well-known Cantonese lyricist based in Hong Kong, Ms Tong shared the inspiring story of her journey into the music industry after graduating from Columbia University. She fondly recalled her school days, sharing how simply copying her favorite lyrics into a notebook ignited a lifelong passion for songwriting. Currently serving as the resident lyricist for Actors’ Family, Ms Tong remains deeply dedicated to promoting the art of Cantonese lyrics writing.
