End-of-term Service 2026
The End-of-term Service, held on July 17, marked the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year. The service began with the school song and prayer, followed by a hymn and a heartfelt sharing by the graduate representative, Tong Siu Nga (6E). Her reflection conveyed deep gratitude for her years at Ying Wa and encouraged her schoolmates to continue pressing forward.
Ms Chuk celebrated excellence across both academic and extracurricular activities, recognizing achievements in sports, programming and STEAM, music, and dance. Special acclaim was given to outstanding performances in the HKDSE, with Tong Siu Nga (6E) being named a Super Top Scorer of Hong Kong, alongside Ho Oi Yan (6A) and Li Tsz Nam Katy (6E). All three were recipients of scholarships from Yu Chu Lam Education Fund (庾柱林獎學金) for DSE High Flyers. In addition, the Biblical quotation, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize,” served as a guiding theme, reminding students to press on towards the true, enduring prize—the values and character built through every victory and trial.
It is never easy to say goodbye. The service also included farewells to departing and retiring teachers. They were warmly thanked for their dedication and invaluable contributions. Upon Ms Chow Siu Fung’s retirement, Mr Cheung Kwok Cheung will succeed her as the new Vice-principal in the coming school year.
The event concluded with hymns of praise and a message of hope, as the school community bade farewell to the 2025–2026 academic year and looked forward to new beginnings ahead.
