Swimming Gala 2017

Thanks to the collaboration of teachers and the five houses guided by our PE teachers, the Swimming Gala got off to a good start at 8.15 am at Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park Swimming Pool.  In the opening ceremony, our Chinese language teacher, Ms Wong Yung Sze, gave an inspiring speech highlighting the good qualities of Ying Wa girls and the importance of developing sportsmanship and character.  Efforts from students, no matter the cheering teams or the contestants, contributed to the great success of the day.  Our IMC Independent Manager, Mr Lau Kwok Hing, delivered a speech in the closing ceremony, encouraging students to enjoy every occasion of sports competitions in their school life.  As every athlete knows, even a failure is an opportunity for growth.
