The 6th AiTLE InnoTech VR / AR Design Award (TIDA6)
Seven Secondary One students formed three teams to participate in the 6th AiTLE InnoTech VR / AR Design Award (TIDA6), organized by the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education (AiTLE). The teams achieved excellent results, taking home two Silver Awards and a Bronze Award.
Using the Delightex Edu platform, the students designed immersive VR experiences. Two of the teams focused on Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage, creatively merging roller coaster concepts with animation to raise awareness for cultural preservation. The third team centered their project on sports promotion, utilizing interactive scenarios and games to encourage healthy living and active lifestyles.
This competition showcased the students' outstanding creativity and collaboration skills. Through this project-based learning, they gained valuable exposure to VR design and deepened their understanding of how innovative technology can be applied to meaningful real-world topics.
