Ying Wa Good Show 2017

Cultivating students' passion for the performing arts has been a long tradition in Ying Wa; different platforms were developed through the years for them to explore their potential in artistic expression.

One of these opportunities is the Ying Wa Good Show.  This school year two sessions were held in October (music) and March (dance).  Thanks to the Music Department, Dance Team and the Students' Self-access Learning Centre, both occasions were a hit, with many teachers and students staying in school during lunchtime to give full support to the talented, entertaining and graceful performers.

Architect and Director at P & T Group, Ms Esther Chow, amazed her junior schoolmates with a delightfully candid account of the tremendous efforts made by various parties, from principals to alumnae, from legislators to construction workers, from donors to designers, over the years to make the School Redevelopment Project a reality – one brick at a time.

Throughout the process, many a challenge was overcome with the faith in God and in the goodwill of His people; unforeseen circumstances were met with patient reflection and inspired solutions.  This makes the resulting success both heartwarming and delightful.
