Dance Team Performance

With the excellent results in recent dance competitions, our Dance Team was invited by the Self-access Centre to perform in the Ying Wa Good Show, a lunchtime programme at the open playground on 17th March 2016, that not only showcases students’ talents but also adds a touch of colour to our school life. The team also entertained the guests at the Spring Bazaar two days later. With the help of the teacher advisors (Ms Wong Yung Sze and Ms Kong Fung Yiu), the dancers demonstrated their grace and unity to the delight of the appreciative audience on both occasions.

Donation Possibilities

Dear friends, parents and alumnae,

Many of you have heard of or have fond memories of Silcocks Hall. It was funded by generous donations from people just like you, and named after a much loved principal.  How would you like to follow in the footsteps of our generous benefactors and make a donation to name a room in our upcoming campus?

Please click on the link to see the classrooms and special rooms awaiting your pledge.

Face Painting at the Spring Bazaar

Art students are on hand to apply basic techniques of face painting and Indian henna hand tattooing. They will serve as make-up artists at Art Stall 12 of Spring Bazaar on 19th March 2016.

Face painting focuses on creating beautiful floral patterns with elegant lines in natural colours using the human face as a canvas. Henna tattoos involve using Indian henna ink to draw traditional Mehndi patterns on the palms. It is a traditional art form associated with Indian festivities. Our artists hope to add a touch of color and exotic delight to our Spring Bazaar.

Under the baton of Miss Selina Li, our Junior Choir was awarded the first runner-up in the Church Music Group (Foreign Language) in the 68th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. Most choir members are Secondary One students, who have trained rigorously since September. Not only did the participants love singing, but they also enjoyed the camaraderie of being part of the choir. It is a memorable music experience for everyone.

UNICEF Club

With the support of UNICEF Hong Kong and the joint efforts of the Civic Education Committee and the Interact Club, a school-based UNICEF Club was established in the beginning of this school year (2015-16). Club members were encouraged and empowered, under the guidance of UNICEF Hong Kong, to organize different programmes promoting global citizenship and the rights of children. Also, it was hoped that student leaders could develop their potential through learning and cooperating with each other.

Student-run activities include board design, morning assembly on the theme of global citizenship and a game booth at the Spring Bazaar.
