S5 CSD Mainland Study Tour 2024

The first ever 2-day-1-night S5 Citizenship and Social Development Mainland Study Tour was conducted smoothly and successfully on March 19 and 20, 2024.  The tour was sponsored by the Education Bureau and organized by H.C. International Exchange Center (華暢東方文化國際交流有限公司).  121 S5 students and 15 teachers spent two days in Shenzhen to learn about the city’s cultural preservation and innovative technology (深圳文化保育及創新科技內地考察兩天團).

Award in ESD Learning Programme

A team of five students, ranging from S3 to S5, was awarded the Outstanding Presentation Award in the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Learning Programme organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association.  Their achievement falls under the category of Environmental Protection and Marine Ecosystem.  This programme, which is centred around the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, aims to educate participants and nurture young leaders in sustainable development.

Homecoming Day 2024 (Album 4)

The Ying Wa Homecoming Day was successfully held on 16 March 2024.  The entire campus was filled with laughter and cheers.  The atmosphere was electric as more than 7,000 enthusiastic alumnae and friends of Ying Wa gathered together, creating a vibrant tapestry of colours and smiles.

The campus came alive with an array of activities.  Sports games were held on the newly refurbished fields, where alumnae from different graduating years showcased their competitive spirit and camaraderie.  Meanwhile, the Heritage Garden became a stage for music and dance performances.

First-runner Up in Schools Music Festival

Our Junior Choir was awarded the first-runner up in the Church Music (Foreign Language) Category of the 76th Schools Music Festival (2024).  Their captivating performances left a lasting impression on the audience, showcasing their extraordinary musical talent.  We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our dedicated music teacher, Ms Li, whose efforts in training the Junior Choir contributed significantly to their success.

Silver Award of TWGHs English Writing Competition

Chu Gratia (5B) was awarded the Silver Award in the Senior Section of the TWGHs Good People Good Deeds English Writing Competition.  This prestigious competition serves as a platform for aspiring young writers to ignite change through their written words, spreading positivity and fostering a sense of social cohesion and care within the local community.
