History and THS Trip to Greater Bay Area
A group of 36 S4-5 students from the History and Tourism and Hospitality Studies (THS) embarked on a fascinating 2-day tour (Mar 10-11) to Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Macau. During the trip, they visited notable historical sites such as The Museum of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, New Yuanming Gardens, Ruins of São Paulo and the lively Senado Square.

Inter-school Basketball Competition - B Grade Champion
Our Basketball Team's victory as the B Grade Champion in the Inter-school Basketball Competition showcased their unwavering passion, impeccable teamwork, and exceptional sportsmanship. The hours of training and practice that our team invested undoubtedly paid off. This remarkable victory stands as a resounding tribute to the united efforts by our players, highlighting their collective dedication and determination. We extend our sincere appreciation not only to the hard work of our team but also to the invaluable guidance and support provided by our PE teachers and coach.
Animal Companionship Programme (2024)
The Guidance Committee organised the 'Animal Companionship Programme' (「寵」伴同行) on Mar 8. This programme was designed to enhance students' mood and overall well-being by creating a comforting, relaxing, and soothing atmosphere through the presence of animals.
During the programme, Ms. Angela Chan, the founder of the Hong Kong Homeless Dog Shelter, shared inspiring stories of how these stray dogs revitalised their lives despite being seriously sick or injured. The lives of these dogs served as valuable life lessons, touching the hearts of everyone.

Wellness Week 2023-2024
The Wellness Week, which was held from February 20 to 23, 2024, was organized by the Guidance Committee in order to prioritize students’ mental health, foster positive emotions and thinking, and train student leaders to deliver constructive messages. Throughout the dedicated week, student leaders orchestrated interactive activities including talks, games, and creative platforms to foster mindfulness, facilitate open expression of emotions, and encourage empathy towards others. The event proved highly successful, fostering a greater comprehension of mental health among all participants.

Sharing by Learning Ambassadors
16 Learning Ambassadors (LA) from both senior and junior forms delivered a talk on “Learning how to Learn” in the morning assembly on Mar 4. The ambassadors adopted a structural approach to introducing different strategies to tackle procrastination and enhance long-term memory. In the assembly, not only did the LAs spoke with confidence, but they also shared their own learning experiences specific to various subjects. Their sharing helped students understand how to become more effective learners and make appropriate plans for their own learning.

Third Inter-School Intelligent Sports STEM Competition
Fifteen students from S2 to S5 levels participated in the "Inter-School Intelligent Sports STEM Competition 2023-2024" and achieved pleasing results. The competition was jointly organized by the Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China, and the Hong Kong Extra-Curricular Activities Masters' Association, with the objective of promoting students' awareness of physical health.

明日領袖選舉頒獎禮2023
「明日領袖高峰論壇暨明日領袖選舉頒獎禮2023」於3月2日舉行。「明日領袖選舉2023」活動由傑出青年協會與香港海關青年發展委員會協辦,表揚10位具有優秀品德、樂於服務、關心社會且具領導潛質的學生領袖。英華推薦了兩位高中學生參與「明日領袖選舉2023」活動,包括施鰻芝(六戊班)和楊凱晴(四戊班)。她們於去年10月21日出席在香港海關學院舉行的啟動禮和評選日,共有40名學界青年領袖出席參與評選。兩位學生表現出色,成功進入決賽,其中施鰻芝更獲得最高榮譽,成為十大學生領袖之一。

S3 Careers Conferences 2024
The Careers Committee organized two career conferences for S3 students on Feb 2 and Mar 1, 2024. During the first conference, careers teachers introduced three Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) subjects: Chinese Literature, Literature in English, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The event concluded with a competition on subject selection. In the second conference, 61 S4-5 student helpers shared their experiences and insights on subject selection and learning. The aim of these conferences was to provide students with valuable information and guidance, enabling them to make informed decisions about their S4 subject selection based on their abilities, interests, and career aspirations.
