History and THS Trip to Greater Bay Area

A group of 36 S4-5 students from the History and Tourism and Hospitality Studies (THS) embarked on a fascinating 2-day tour (Mar 10-11) to Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Macau.  During the trip, they visited notable historical sites such as The Museum of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, New Yuanming Gardens, Ruins of São Paulo and the lively Senado Square.

These captivating locations offered invaluable learning opportunities for the students. They gained insights into the life and accomplishments of Sun Yat-sen.  At New Yuanming Gardens, they discovered the historical significance and architectural beauty of the site.  The visit to Ruins of São Paulo brought the city's history to life, and the busy streets of Senado Square showcased the fusion of cultures in Macau.

Throughout the tour, students deepened their knowledge of history, cultural heritage, and tourism.  They also enhanced their understanding of the vital role these destinations play in preserving and promoting the region's rich heritage.
