Sponsored Walk and Thanksgiving Service (2022)
The Thanksgiving Service was conducted successfully on November 25. In addition to the Thanksgiving Service, the Sponsored Walk, one of the highlights of the Thanksgiving Week, took place right after. In order to strike a balance between preserving our noble tradition and maintaining social distancing, it was the third time that the Sponsored Walk was held inside our Robinson Road campus. Thanks to the support of the Student Association, the Extra-curricular Activities Committee, staff, students and many others, we all managed to finish our annual walk smoothly. We are committed to upholding the tradition of “to serve but not to be served” by raising funds and sharing our love with a total of 21 charitable organizations.
英華女籃港島區D1甲組奪冠 (2022-2023)
2022年港島區D1中學校際籃球比賽是自疫情以來首辦之學界籃球賽，其中英華籃球隊於11月26日舉行的甲組決賽中，成功衛冕，事隔三年再度奪冠。隊長陳嘉欣同學(五丙班)於賽後接受訪問時說 :「很開心、很興奮，我們每天努力訓練，目標就是為了贏得這個冠軍，今天一役證明我們付出的汗水與淚水都沒有白費。」
英華教練王晶稱讚每位參與決賽的同學都十分稱職，且精神集中，做到自己崗位應做的事。而籃球隊上下一心，也為觀眾及支持者帶來了高水平的比賽。

CUHK Jockey Club Children Eye Care Programme
Fifteen Secondary 4 to 6 girls joined a service programme on Nov 20 organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). They helped four to fourteen-year-old children to take comprehensive eye tests. This CUHK project is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) which aims at advocating proactive and preventive children eye care, with special attention to the under-privileged communities.

The Guidance Committee extended an invitation to Ms. Choi Wing Kei (蔡詠琪) to enlighten the YW girls about her background and career as a Paralympic badminton athlete. The objective was to foster mental well-being among students by instilling in them the inspiration to confront challenges with confidence and steadfastness. Her story of becoming a Paralympic badminton athlete served as an encouragement for all students and staff, emphasising the importance of strength and resilience in the pursuit of their goals, regardless of discouragement and difficulties.

The Citizenship & Social Development (CSD) Department was very excited to have invited alumna Xie Shiyun Joanne (Graduate of 2014) to share with classes 5C and 5A on November 17 and 18, 2022 respectively. Joanne shared her experience of growing up in Foshan and working in Shanghai after graduating from YWGS and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Not only did she share the attractiveness and challenges living in Shanghai, but she also gave her personal views of why she opted for living independently there. Pictures of the Shanghai lifestyles, especially its being a cashless city, the modern skyscape and the presence of stylish coffee shops, are overwhelming. 《蘇東坡的瀟灑人生》講座活動
在中文科及中國文學科的課程，均有蘇東坡作品，其中《念奴嬌．大江東去》及《水調歌頭．明月幾時有》更是學生最熟悉的作品。本校中國文學科學生參加中西區聯校讀書會舉辦，由鄭培凱教授主講的《蘇東坡的瀟灑人生》活動。透過鄭教授的解說，讓同學在不同層面，了解宋代文豪蘇東坡如何以豁達胸懷面對人生起伏不定的際遇。本校學生在發問環節也向鄭教授提問，加深認識活動主題。
Awards of JS History e-Reading Award Scheme 2022
Organized jointly by the Personal, Social and Humanities Education (PSHE) Section, Curriculum Development Institute (CDI), Education Bureau (EDB), and the e-Learning Development Laboratory of the University of Hong Kong, the Junior Secondary (JS) History e-Reading Award Scheme 2022 was held from March to August 2022. More than 100 secondary schools participated in the scheme. Through reading on an e-learning platform, the programme aims at promoting students’ interest in history under self-directed learning and fostering a positive reading atmosphere and culture in secondary schools.
《綴文樂2022》
2022年《綴文樂》順利出版了!《綴文樂》是由英華女學校中文科及自學中心合作的中文文集，將同學的投稿及徵文比賽優勝作品結集成書。而每位英華員生均會獲贈乙本，讓同學既有一個發揮創意的空間，也有互相觀摩及學習的機會。
《綴文樂》由封面設計至每篇作品，均是老師和同學的心血結晶。因應疫情停止面授課及三月特別假期，打亂了2022年《綴文樂》的徵稿及排版工作，令出版困難重重。猶幸停課不停學，學生筆耕不輟，編輯部手胼足胝，在師生共同努力下，終於將《綴文樂》付梓印刷。本年作品題材豐富，當中不乏親情及對社區感情的文章，同學閱讀時，不妨細心欣賞小作家們真摯感情。
