47th Enrolment Ceremony of the Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 11

The 47th Enrolment Ceremony of the Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 11 took place on July 26 at Silcocks Hall.   It commenced with welcoming remarks by Mr Francis Kwan, the Principal and Patron of our youth unit.   We were honoured to have Dr Sherman Chow, the Acting Chief Staff Officer of Hong Kong Island Division of Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Development Service, to be our Guest of Honour.   He witnessed the pledge and conferred certificates and badges to the 15 members who enrolled this year.   Lastly, our newly enrolled members put on an entertaining performance for all the guests in the audience.

During this occasion, the current and former members of YU11 prepared a short farewell session for Mr Kwan to show our deepest gratitude for his consistent support and encouragement towards our unit over the years.   We also took this opportunity to extend our well wishes to Mr. Kwan for a joyous retirement.
