Animal Photopoetry Creative Challenge 2026
Jointly organised by the Visual Arts Department and the English Department, ten S2 to S5 students participated in the Animal Photopoetry Creative Challenge at Ocean Park on 6 February. In this cross-curricular competition, students stepped out of the classroom and engaged with the natural world. By blending their literary skills in writing poetry with their photography skills, the students sought to promote three values: Perseverance, Filial Piety, and Diligence.
During the competition, students visited different parts of the Ocean Park to capture the beauty of the animals with their cameras, which later inspired them to compose an original poem. Through this immersive activity, students not only deepened their appreciation of nature but also showcased their remarkable creativity in their artistic expressions.
