Cyber Crime Prevention Talk by Hong Kong Police Force

We are pleased to have invited the Community Relations Officers from the Central District Police to deliver a talk on December 18, 2024.  The main speaker, Sergeant Lee Kin Hang, conducted an informative session focused on cybercrime prevention, highlighting cybersecurity as one of the important elements of national security to be introduced to students.  The talk covered common scams that often arise during the festive period, including online shopping traps and phishing scams on various platforms.  The officers also introduced various anti-fraud tools and applications, empowering students to share this knowledge with their friends and family to help prevent victimisation.  This event was a collaborative effort with our IT Committee, fostering a stronger defense against online scams.
