Dance Team Tour to Prague

The Chinese Dance Team and the Jazz Dance Team took part in the Dance World Cup (DWC) Asia 2024 Hong Kong Qualifying Match and both teams were invited to join the finals held in Prague, Czech Republic.

10 students went on a 10-day (June 29 to July 8) trip to Prague for DWC Final 2024 with 2 teachers.  The trip aimed to enhance students’ dancing skills and techniques, foster their appreciation for diverse cultures, and strengthen their teamwork skills and sense of independence.

During the trip, students organised and managed practice sessions in preparation for the competition.  They joined master classes held by dance instructors who specialise in and teach different styles of dance, and danced with fellow participants of the competition. Students were also taken on a tour to visit landmarks in Prague, broadening their perspective of local culture and history.
