Farewell Assembly

The annual Farewell Assembly was held on February 6 to bid farewell to the graduating classes. Each S6 class prepared a touching video that recaptured their memorable moments at Ying Wa, expressed the emotions of leaving a home they had known for six years, and conveyed gratitude to the school that had nurtured them into responsible, confident, and grateful young adults.  Lam Chi Yau (6D) and Tong Siu Nga (6E) represented the graduating classes in expressing appreciation to the school.  The passing-on ceremony brought the assembly to a close.  Our Principal, Ms Chuk, reminded the graduates to carry forward the values they had developed at Ying Wa and to go on to shine in their future journeys.  A cherished tradition then drew the final curtain, as S6 representatives passed a candle flame to the junior forms and fellow graduates, symbolizing the continuation of the school’s heritage, while singing the meaningful hymns “Pass It On” and “I Know Who Holds the Future.”
