Food Waste Problems and Recycling
The topic on Food Waste Problems was presented by the Eco Amigos during the morning assembly on May 13, 2026. The sharing highlighted urgent environmental issues, including daily food waste worldwide, starvation, and landfill saturation. Students were encouraged to act as responsible global citizens by reducing waste at the source and developing recycling habits. To support this, the school’s Reshine Programme collects food waste, plastic bottles, and metal cans, with recycling boxes placed on each floor. In addition, the Redress Campaign, co‑organized by the English Department and the Eco Amigos, invited students to donate clothes, aimed at promoting sustainability and the common good.
