Guidance Programmes for S1 Students

With the aims to assist S1 students to adapt to the secondary school life in Ying Wa and develop closer bonding with their schoolmates, our Guidance Assistants and teachers organised some programmes on 5 October.  Through games and sharing, our S1 ‘new comers’ have become more aware of proper behaviours and attitudes, learning methods as well as different ways to overcome difficulties.  In order to encourage students to set goals for themselves, they were also invited to apply for the Mrs. Katherine Chau Scholarship, which is a school-based scholarship aiming at goal-setting with achievable and measurable criteria.  The Guidance Committee hopes that the S1 students found the programmes encouraging in facilitating their smooth adaptation to the new school life.
