History and Geography Tour to Shenzhen

The History and Geography Departments co-organized a two-day-one-night tour for 37 S2 and S3 students, led by 4 teachers and 1 alumna, providing an enriching experience.

On the first day, students participated in workshops to create handmade crafts and accessories at New Splendid China.  Additionally, they visited various miniature landmarks that showcased China’s diverse cultures and different ethnic groups.  Engaging exhibits and performances offered opportunities for a deeper understanding of the rich heritage of our motherland.

On the second day, students visited the Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula National Geopark Museum, where they learned about geological formations, plate tectonics, and ecological significance through interactive displays and guided tours.  This hands-on experience made complex concepts more accessible and enjoyable.

Overall, the tour was both educational and enjoyable, enhancing students' understanding of history and geography and inspiring future learning.
