History Talk by Professor Ting Sun Pao Joseph

A captivating History Talk was organized in Ying Wa on October 27 with the presence of Professor Ting Sun Pao Joseph (丁新豹教授), a renowned expert in Chinese and Hong Kong history.  Professor Ting, former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of History and History and Heritage Education Consultant of Ying Wa since 2014, delivered an engaging and thought-provoking talk that captivated the audience.

Professor Ting delved into the history of some prominent figures who were buried in Hong Kong's various cemeteries since 1842.  His analysis highlighted the unique characteristic of the co-existence of different ethnic cultures in the local history, shedding light on the diverse heritage of the region. 

The event was organized by the Civic Education Committee and the History Department, providing students and attendees with a remarkable opportunity to learn from one of the most distinguished experts in the field.  The talk left a lasting impact, deepening the students' understanding of Hong Kong's rich historical tapestry.
