Inauguration of Appointed Officials, Student Association and Interhouse Committee
The inauguration of the appointed posts of various committees, the 77th Student Association (SA) and the 35th Inter-house Committee was held on Oct 2. After the inauguration of all appointed posts, Leung Sum Nam (6C), Chairlady of the 76th Student Association, delivered a Vote of Thanks, in which she expressed gratitude to her peers for their unfailing support in the past year and rallied students’ support for the new SA. Our Principal, Ms Chuk, conducted the Investiture of Office and endorsement of all posts, reminding student leaders to serve but not to be served, and to strive to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them with diligence and joy. The whole student body also pledged to abide by the constitution of the Association and school rules, to work with concerted efforts in promoting harmony in school, and to learn and grow together with their peers. Lau Sum In (5D), Chairlady of the new 77th Student Association, concluded the assembly with her inauguration speech, pledging to serve and to contribute to the Ying Wa community wholeheartedly.
