S1 and S2 STEAM days
Our school organized two STEAM activities for S1 and S2 students respectively. On June 19 and 20, S1 students participated in a fun and creative product design workshop about wind power. They worked in groups to design and build their own wind turbine models using simple materials. The students discussed ways to make their designs eco-friendly and minimize harm to the environment. This activity also aimed to raise students’ awareness of reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable energy. After completing their models, they presented their ideas confidently on stage. Students were well-engaged and enjoyed, while showcasing their creativity and learning valuable skills.
On June 20, S2 students joined an exciting aviation workshop. They learned how to make a flight plan, tried out flight simulations, and listened to a talk by an experienced pilot. The pilot shared insights into their daily work, the path to becoming a pilot, and the key traits required for the role. This workshop gave students a better understanding of the aviation industry and inspired many to take an interest in flying. It was a meaningful and eye-opening experience for all.
