Speech Day 2017

Matured by their HKDSE experience, S6 graduates returned to school to attend Speech Day on 10 July. A specially designed programme booklet highlighting their fond memories of school activities in this school year was issued to mark their graduation day.  Principal, Mr Kwan Hon-cheung Francis welcomed parents and praised graduates on the successful completion of their secondary school education.  Ms Lam Lai-bing Alison, Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) manager and alumna, also emboldened graduates with words of encouragement.  Attendees were also privileged to have Professor Sung Jao-yiu Joseph, Vice-Chancellor and President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as the commencement speaker.  Deeply inspired by his keynote speech on life and its challenges, and impressed with his humility and wit, graduates were eager to embark on the next chapter of their lives.  On behalf of the graduates, Chan Hiu-ying, Sophia (6B) gave a compelling vote of thanks imploring students to chase their dreams with "Optimism, Passion and Gratitude".  The Speech Day concluded with a heartfelt and touching rendition of a traditional Chinese farewell songby the School Choir.
