Student Association and Inter-house Elections 2026-27

At Ying Wa, we uphold the noble tradition of empowering students to realize their potential through service and leadership.  This year, 19 dedicated students formed the Student Association (SA) cabinet Euthymia, while another group of 10 students established the Inter-house cabinet Aurovia.  On September 9, during the whole-school morning assembly, candidates presented their platforms with sincerity and clarity, followed by a Question-and-Answer session on September 10.

Euthymia is the 78th Student Association cabinet, operating under the slogan “Explore Your Vistas,” which encourages students to stay true to themselves and find inner peace amid outside influences.  Represented by their whale mascot, Kira, the cabinet aims to enrich school life and foster self-discovery through key initiatives including Thanksgiving Week, a two-phase Year Activity, Christmas Variety Show, Joint-School Christmas Ball, Farewell Assembly, and Students’ Day.

On the other hand, Aurovia is the 36th Inter-House Committee cabinet with the slogan “Live your life, feel and thrive.”  Aurovia encourages students to break away from social stereotypes, rediscover their passions, and foster school unity.  The cabinet aims to boost house spirit through activities such as a House Fun Day, a multi-stage Day Camp, a house-color Photography Competition, a Founder’s Day Detective Game, a Swimming Gala Logo Design Competition, and an ongoing Housechat platform.

The passion and commitment of these student leaders reflect the true spirit of service within the Ying Wa community.
